Final Major Project - work in progress

The Sanctuary draws upon the need for a sense of calm in our ever-changing current climate. Prompted by trends of craft, resourcefulness and the ‘slow’ movement, the project encapsulates the emotional power of colour and material in influencing wellness.

This project looks to design a trans-seasonal interiors collection of carefully curated textiles suited to adaptable living spaces; think large scale throws and soft furnishings designed to enhance wellbeing through calming, immersive and textural surfaces.

 

Bringing the outdoors in through warm soft colours and raw materials, The Sanctuary uses only organic natural fibres including hemp, flax and bamboo, dyed with responsibly sourced dyestuffs and botanical waste.
